"My family of four, including two teenage boys, stayed in the apartment over spring break. The location cannot be beat as it in walking distance of pretty much everything in Seattle. Pike Place Market is literally a block and a half away, straight up the Post Alley and past the famous Gum Wall. We were also only a block away from the waterfront and the ferries. All of the shopping, restaurants and movie theaters that you could want are within 6 blocks. It was nice to come home to the apartment in the evenings and have room to spread out and relax. My boys had their own room and bathroom and we couldn't even hear them in the master because the rooms are on opposite sides of the apartment. The apartment had all of the ammenties that you could want or need on a vacation. The only downfall to a centrally-located, downtown apartment is that you do hear some traffic noise, but we just used the white noise app on our iPhones at night and that mostly rectified the problem. Some things we did on our trip that I would highly suggest: The Duck Boat tour (do this on the first or second day so that you get your bearings and hear about Seattle history and learn of other fun things to see and do...it seems cheesy, but it really is a fun, informational tour), Chihuly Glass exhibit, water taxi ride to West Seattle (gives you an amazing view of Mt. Ranier and downtown Seattle), Boeing Tour (you'll have to rent a car to get to Everett, WA...35 minutes northwest of Seattle) and do the Seattle Underground Tour for a really interesting piece of Seattle history. The only thing we didn't get to see, but wished we had, was the Chittenden Locks. Also, take Uber instead of taxis!"
